ParentBrief
Terms of Use
Last updated March 30, 2026
These Terms of Use explain the basic rules for using ParentBrief. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.
The service
ParentBrief helps parents collect school communications, organize them, and turn them into a calmer daily digest. Some features rely on forwarded emails, and some rely on an optional Gmail connection.
ParentBrief may change, add, pause, or remove features as the product evolves, especially during beta periods.
Accounts and access
You are responsible for the account information you provide and for keeping your sign-in details secure. You may only connect Gmail accounts and school communications that you are authorized to use.
If you connect Gmail, you are authorizing ParentBrief to use the Google permissions you approve during the OAuth flow. You can disconnect Gmail later from the app settings.
Acceptable use
You may not use ParentBrief to break the law, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, or use school or family information in a way that violates the rights or privacy of others.
You may not copy, resell, or misuse ParentBrief or the information it provides in a way that falls outside the product's intended household use.
Third-party services
ParentBrief relies on third-party services to operate, including hosting, authentication, Gmail access, and digest-generation tools. Those services may have their own terms and policies.
ParentBrief is not responsible for outages, changes, or restrictions caused by third-party services that ParentBrief depends on.
Privacy
Your use of ParentBrief is also governed by the ParentBrief Privacy Policy. That policy explains how ParentBrief handles account data, imported school emails, and Google user data.
No guarantee
ParentBrief aims to help parents catch important details sooner, but it may miss information, misread context, or show incomplete results. You should still use your judgment and check original school communications when something matters.
ParentBrief is provided on an as-is basis to the extent allowed by law.
Changes and suspension
ParentBrief may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised terms.
ParentBrief may suspend or end access to the service if it needs to protect the product, comply with the law, or respond to misuse.
